One of the many challenges facing Accounting teachers is often lack of student enthusiasm. This session explores various teaching strategies to add motivational ‘spark,’ introduce vocabulary and reinforce concepts, and change students’ perceptions about learning accounting. The presenter shares a variety of ways to incorporate accounting games (i.e., Accounting Monopoly, Jenga, Bingo and more), video tutorials and simulations, collaborative vocabulary reviews, activities for analyzing transactions, and a myriad of ‘low’ and ‘high’ tech strategies to any accounting class. Make your students “E” learners—enthusiastic and engaged—to build course enrollments and increase student success in Accounting!
