The purpose of this study was to describe advisor perceptions of a national student organization related to business education. To describe their perceptions, past and present advisors answered specific research questions used to guide the study. Additionally, demographic data were also collected for advisors who completed the survey. The three research questions included the following: 1. What are the reasons for advising a chapter of Pi Omega Pi? 2. How do the areas of support, time, and cost affect advisement of a chapter of Pi Omega Pi? 3. What are the current expectations of advising a chapter of Pi Omega Pi?
