Assessing Alignment of Entrepreneurial Spirit to Job Descriptions Seeking Business Administration or Management Undergraduates
This study assessed alignment between concepts included in current definitions of Entrepreneurial Spirit and Indeed job descriptions seeking hires with undergraduate business degrees. In addition, a definition of Entrepreneurial Spirit was sought. Conceptual content analysis examined job descriptions and compared them with Entrepreneurial Spirit concepts. Implementation, creativity and collaboration appeared most in job descriptions. Findings identified skills that are explicit in job descriptions which is useful for employers seeking new hires who have Entrepreneurial Spirit.
