Changes to the APA 7th Edition
In October 2019, the American Psychological Association (APA) introduced the 7th edition of the APA Publication Manual, which replaces the 6th edition published in 2009. During the last decade, many things have changed. Citing online material is much more commonplace, using inclusive and bias-free language is increasingly important, and technology used by researchers has changed. The APA 7th edition addresses these changes by providing more extensive guidelines. This presentation covers the most noteworthy changes in the new APA 7th edition that you should know about.
