Squeeze the Day: Engaging Middle Schoolers in Business Education with Lemonade Stands
The university team recently partnered with the local Chamber of Commerce, who distributed the “Lemonade Day” curriculum to local public schools. The program evolved into an outreach for the community.

The attendee will learn how to replicate an idea, such as a lemonade stand, as a practical tool to teach middle schoolers basic business concepts, such as marketing, budgeting, and customer service.

The attendee will be:
  • exposed to potential lesson plans and activities that engage middle schoolers in hands-on learning through real-world applications.
  • connecting with higher ed to share experiences, challenges, and success stories of entrepreneurship education.
A resource will also be shared for educators at the conclusion of the webinar.
