Digital badges are one of the hottest topics in credentialing and educational technology. Microsoft, IBM, Dell, and many other organizations have begun leveraging digital badges to credential learners, and business educators need to be in tune with the latest developments.  Digital badges offer educators and training professionals the opportunity to have learner credentials shared in the digital ecosystem.  Research also shows badges, if used appropriately, can help motivate learners.  This session is a follow-up to NBEA's previous hit webinar, "A Business Educators Guide to Open Digital Badges," available in the NBEA library.

Join NBEA Executive Director Joe McClary, CAE, for this fun and exciting look at one of the educational technologies' hottest trends. Joe was instrumental in leading the development of the  International Association for Continuing Education and Training's guidelines for Open Digital Badges. He also co-authored the Open Digital Badge Experience course, which is an extensive training course on open digital badges offered by the same organization.
