Presenter Michele Leonardo started her career in Human Resources, working with employees onboarding and designing training for organizational development. I decided to pursue Business Education, and I have been working in education for about 8 years. I hold certifications in Business Education, Work-Based Learning, Educational Technology and School Building Leader. I recently completed my Master’s in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing. I am very passionate about representing Business Education and Work-Based Learning in the field of Career and Technical Education. I have been a representative of Business Education as a participant in the Leadership Fellows Program at both the state and national levels with NYSACTE and ACTE. I serve as a board member for LIBTA (a division of BTANYS), NYSCREA, and NYSACTE, and I truly enjoy the collaborative nature of educators working together to meet common goals. I thrive on learning and imparting the knowledge I have gained to others.
