This presentation will give a brief background regarding the types of artificial intelligence, present a framework for writing effecting prompts for AI, and then provide examples of using tools like Google Gemini, MagicSchool, and Consensus AI. Attendees will leave this session knowing how to write AI prompts, how to use AI tools to impact instructional practice, and how to teach students how to use AI ethically.

Amy Grinsteinner is an assistant professor of teacher education at Dickinson State University specializing in education technology and secondary education. I received my B.A. in history from the University of Notre Dame, my B.S. in social studies education from Minnesota State University-Moorhead, and my M.Ed in educational leadership from North Dakota State University. I have been a member of ISTE since 2022 and have been very passionate about harnessing the power of AI to transform teaching and learning.
