Augmented Reality in Business Classes

A pilot study of how college business students use and perceive an augmented reality activity that simulates a job fair.

Immersive technologies, including AR and VR, are becoming popular for many businesses, so business education needs to prepare students to become comfortable with this technology. As immersive technologies have become more prevalent in the K-12 setting, college students may anticipate their use in college classes as well. This paper presents the findings from a pilot study of students’ use and perceptions of introducing an AR activity that simulates a job fair setting in business classes.
