Design Thinking and Prototyping: Student Experiences and Practices During a Term-Length Project

Design Thinking is a human-centered approach to innovation that encourages creative thinking and problem-solving. This session reports on student experiences with a design thinking project in a 400-level course on small business innovation. Of specific focus are the course resources having the most impact on student perceived learning as well as the types of prototypes created and the processes and tools students used to create them.
