Presenter
Kyleigh Lewis is a STEM educator extraordinaire. Her current role includes serving the Harlan Community School District as a technology coach and high school STEM teacher. She is passionate about sparking curiosity and igniting a love for STEM subjects in young minds. With 9 years of experience as a STEM teacher, business teacher, and instructional coach, she’s had the privilege of nurturing the next generation of innovators and problem solvers. Kyleigh’s academic journey, combined with her real-world experience in business and education, has equipped her with a deep understanding of the ability to convey complex concepts in an engaging and relatable way. As a lifelong learner, Kyleigh began her post-secondary education at Wayne State College with a BMIT endorsement. Since, she has completed her Master's in Curriculum and Instruction - Business Emphasis, her MBA, and an Educational Leadership Master's for 7-12.
Beyond the classroom, Kyleigh serves as a member of many organizations, including: NETA, ISTE, ITEC, CSTA, and NBEA. Kyleigh is enthusiastic about technology integration in the classroom, collaborating with like-minded individuals, and presenting real-world applications to her students. She is passionate about sharing computer science, and implemented a coding club using Google CS First and a FIRST robotics team. She serves as the Code.org Facilitator for CSD in Nebraska, and was the NETA "Excellence in Teaching with Technology" recipient in 2018. Her credentials include being a Google Certified Trainer, Apple Teacher, and Apple Learning Coach. Kyleigh has served the technology community as a board member for NETA for the past five years
