Entrepreneurship: Entrepreneurship and Sustainability

Objectives:

• Students will be able to recognize trends in society that can lead to entrepreneurial opportunities related to sustainability.
• Students will be able to research commonly used products to determine how they benefit the earth or conserve resources.

Age Level: Middle school/early secondary school

National Standards: Complies with NBEA Entrepreneurship 2023 Standard II.A.5. Research commonly used products to determine how they benefit the earth or conserve resources.

• Projector or display device for presentation
• Handout for current trends in sustainability
• Whiteboard or chart paper and markers for brainstorming activity
• Student worksheet for research activity
• Access to internet and library resources for research activity
• Quiz handout
