Leveraging Pre-Clinical Experiences to Advance Entrepreneurship Education

Research on how Junior Achievement pre-clinical experiences shape preservice business teachers' approach to entrepreneurship education.

This research presentation highlights a business teacher education program andpreservice experiential approach to drive entrepreneurship across the breadth of K-12 curricula. The mixed methods study set out to investigate how subjects of the study perceived their JA pre-clinical experience and its impact, if any, on their view of its connection to entrepreneurship. The study encompassed 13 years of graduates of the program, all having taught and/or currently teaching within K-12 business and marketing education programs.
