Students’ Attention Spans: Learning from the Business Education Classroom
Techniques teachers use to hold Generation Z's attention, plus findings from a national survey of 145 business educators.
We examined different techniques that teachers are using in their classrooms to assist students’ decreasing attention spans, including formative assessment, tools, applications, and ways to keep their attention in the classroom. We then discussed findings from 145 educators surveyed nationwide that helped us further explore the decreasing attention spans of Generation Z, and what educators around the country are changing in their classroom to combat students that were born into a world of technology.
